Epiphany Adopts a School: Tri-Community

Central Dauphin School District: Adopt-A-School Program

Epiphany has “adopted” the Tri-Community (Enhaut, Oberlin, & Bressler) a.k.a. Tri-C Elementary School for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This is our opportunity to help out & play a role in the lives of these elementary school children in the community. This program is part of the Lower Paxton Ecumenical
Network & Central Dauphin School District Partnership.

There are two ways for you to get involved.

#1) Volunteer opportunities that require a completed background check include Chaperoning school field trips; help with small group/Reading groups; Mentoring with a child; & helping with Class Parties. Someone will be available to walk you through the background check process. If this is something you may be interested in doing, here is the link to register your contact information: https://www.cdschools.org/adopt-a-school Select the option to register as an Individual showing near the bottom of the page. If you need help to register, please reach out to Bonnie or Pastor Jillian.

#2) There are other volunteer opportunities at Tri-Community (Tri-C) that do NOT require you to register nor get a background check. Helping with these events is open to all. Epiphany will be providing more details & organizing volunteers for events with Tri-C during the school year. Examples of these events are helping with STEM/Literacy/Math Nights; chaperoning school dances; helping with concessions at Talent Shows; attending Donuts with Grownups; helping with book fairs/May Fair/Field Day and more. These are simple yet very impactful ways to encourage and assist. Sometimes just “showing up”
for the children’s events goes a long way to greatly enriching their Elementary School experience.  Brochures on this program are outside the Nave. Please reach out to Pastor Jillian if you have any questions.
