What should I wear?

We would like you to be comfortable, we do not have a dress policy. Some people wear business attire (suit/tie, dress) while others wear casual clothing (jeans). We welcome you as you are!

Are children welcome?

Absolutely! We encourage children to attend. We provide a children’s sermon at our worship service, and children’s activity bags are available for their use if desired (located in the café area). Throughout the school year, Sunday School is also provided following the children’s sermon.

Parking

We have a lower parking lot to the side of the church building and an upper parking lot behind the church building. The lower lot will require stairs to access the building. The upper parking lot has no stairs at the entrance & is handicap accessible. Both entrances provide access to the entire building/all indoor facilities.

Café

We have a small café with a single serve coffee maker where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation or simply relax. It is located directly outside of the sanctuary. Children’s activity bags can also be found in this space.

Holy Communion

Epiphany Lutheran Church offers Holy Communion every Sunday.  We practice eucharistic hospitality, meaning all those who are baptized, regardless of denomination or age, are invited to receive Holy Communion. The congregation will proceed to the front of the church to receive the sacraments. If you cannot kneel at the altar, just continue to stand. In addition, anyone with special needs that cannot walk to the front of the church can receive Holy Communion at their pew. We use non-alcoholic wine & wafers. Gluten free wafers are available on request. 

Am I required to give an offering?

No, there is no expectation for visitors to give. Offering plates are available at the entrance to the sanctuary and all offerings are free-will offerings.

How do I follow along with the service?

Everyone who attends worship will be provided with a bulletin that helps you follow along with the service. Greeters and ushers are also available to answer your questions.
