The Worship and Music Committee is currently comprised of three congregational members, our Music Director and advised and attended by our Pastor. We meet monthly, usually the first or second week of the month, at 5:45pm.
On the Worship side, we discuss liturgies, procedures for worship and communing, and any comments or issues that arise concerning worship. As a subset of worship, we organize and assign duties for the servers who assist with worship: Ushers, Greeters, Worship Assistants. An additional subset is the organization and assignation of duties for the Altar Care Teams who prepare and clean up the Sanctuary for worship.
On the Music side, we discuss the music for the services: Hymns, Preludes, Postludes, Liturgies. The choir, while led by the Music Director, is part of the music discussion.
Members are welcome to attend our meetings.
